Options for the split rim budd wheels

Hello all, the 76 c750 I just got has the 6 lug split ring budd wheels, what options are available to update to a tubeless tire? It has 9.00x20 tires now would like to keep it close as I can to that size if possible. Thanks for any help on this.

There’s nothing wrong with keeping your locking side ring 20”s in service. They look to be in good shape. If you’re just not feeling that, a common replacement wheel has long been the Accuride #28157. It’s 22.5” x 6.75”. Used to be easy to find in yards, but maybe not so much today. Plenty of repops are available on-line. A Google search will give you lots of sellers. Stu

Thanks stu, not sure what will happen with em, that will depend on finding tube type tires and tube's . Then finding a place to get em replaced as most shops won't seem to touch them anymore.

I'm betting these are the original tires on it as it has almost 14k on the clock.

I’d be real surprised if no truck shop in your area would mount tires on them. Stay away from the Walmarts of the world, you need a real truck tire shop. The rims look to be Goodyear LW style which is a real common rim. Stu
