Known control arm issue?

I'm not sure you would get the same result. I was holding my steering wheel straight when it went hard left. It was definitely pushed from the back right corner that made it go left.

After you look at the tire marks on the highway and rule in a blown tire as your culprit;
Did you experience a hard pull / spin to the steering wheel just prior to bang. I have seen
others dart across the expressway and into a barrior.
There is usually a Tie Rod / Ball joint/ link issue.
A quick check at Midas will give you options. But if you're totaled just learn some ?
If you also had a buzzing sound it may link the wheel bearing into the options also.
I had a Right rear Tubeless blow at 55 mph, on a large 59 Impala, try to throw me into a ditch in 1965.
