5.4 odd miss
I bought a 2008 F250 to pull our camper. It has 119,000 miles and previous owner had plugs changed. Other than a cracked right side exhaust manifold it seems to be a pretty good truck that is until I pull the camper. I pulled the camper on a couple short trips to have work done on the camper. Both times the truck pulled good and the automatic trans shifted great. When I got back home and put it in reverse to park the camper the motor shook as if it was not running on all cylinders but did get the camper parked. Each time I shut the truck off to un-hook and secure the camper when I restarted the truck it ran good again. With the hood open and running the truck up to about 4000 rpm a few times I thought I heard a fairly load snapping sound a few times that I guessed could be a coil shorting on the block. The coils were not changed when plugs were put in. The issue only happens after pulling the camper. New coils are being shipped to me now. Anyone have an idea what could be going on?
