It's good to know that Saginaw pumps from '80s vans will work on the mid-late 90s trucks.

No. That is not completely correct. You want the pump and bracket from an early 90’s E-Series van. An 80’s van will have V belts and the wrong a/c compressor bracket.

I saw a Magnefine filter today between hoses, beneath the power steering pump in a 1996 F150 4x4, 5.8 motor in the junkyard. Do those filters last a while?
