Nebraska's " Bring on the turkey and stuffing!" November BS thread
Good morning all, and welcome to November! A little late this morning. But, looking forward to one of my favorite holidays at the end of the month. So, with that, lets get this month going!!
Happy Friday! We had very little trick or treaters in town last night. In fact it looked like no one took candy. My kid on the other hand ended up with 2 bags of candy.... The golf cart died on us, on the last street. Somehow I got it to fire up again in reverse and tail it back the block to the firehall. It ran home after that. I'm assuming it's the points being dirty again. I'm going to experiment again this weekend with electronic modules. It's a ParCar and parts are non existent so I have to make or find used parts.
Father in law with his crazy cousin/girlfriend are in town this weekend so that I can fix his truck. I have the driveshaft now, so should be simple. Have a gender reveal tongiht for my cousin's kid and her husband and then one tomorrow for a friends kid and his wife. Should make for a busy weekend plus husker volleyball and football on TV. I'm going to try and hang the bumper on the 96 tonight so I can avoid the guests....
Sensational sunny Saturday morning Nebraska, Pat, Lee, TC, Kenny, Denny, Ken, Goerge and all the Husker crew.
I hope everyone had a great Weekend Eve party and didn't stay out/up too late. It is time to get out and do the things you do, back home or in and cleaned up, snacks and beverages ready and game time is 1530!
Lee, good to see you drop in and how did you fair with the storms?

It rained once, then stopped. No wind to speak of. It's been a fairly boring hurricane season this year.

Good morning. Huskers pooched it again, I'm way too used to this feeling.
Got Dad's truck fixed Sunday. Possibly figured out my golf cart and ordered a diode, got the camper cleaned out and moved to behind the house so I finally have a 2 stall driveway again. Garage is cleaned up from the truck project finally with the big stuff moved to where it needs to be. Deck is fixed for now as well. The wood on it is from 1992 and keeps getting rotten boards. I'm going to have to bite the bullet next spring and just buy all new decking. I set out to replace one board but ended up doing 4 or 5. I had boards to do 3 so I pieced in older boards from not rotten sections but the longer I look at the deck the more I find other pieces that need done. Last summer I had to replace one stringer. It's 12 inches off the ground so I keep having this internal debate of whether or not I just pave the area and have a patio but then that's considerably more money and steps down immediately from sliding door. I'll probably just re-deck it and then to the north someday pave that behind my garage to have a nice patio there and someday a hot tub. At least i have friends with all the concrete stuff so when I do get there I can do 95% of the work.
This time change deal is really getting me this time. Usually it's not a big deal but it's messing with me this go around. Woke up an hour early the last 2 mornings.....
With the driveway open again I think I'll go out and fire up the Ford Garden tractor for the first time in 2 years and drag rock around the end of the driveway to level it out.
Good morning all, welcome back from the weekend. Lets start with that mess on Saturday. I had awesome tickets to watch that Sheet show. Dylan Railo needs to throw his recievers open. Oh, and throw to the open guy, stop holding it forever for the big play. Getting awful tired of this!
Finally got some rain here also. Oh, and good news, wife got a great job offer with Mutual of Omaha Friday, she starts later this month!
