We went somewhere and stopped the truck, came back after 1/2 hour and tried to start. Turned over very well but no start. No indication at all of any spark.
Tried a few times then sat for a few minutes. Then thought maybe the battery monitor was a problem so I disconnected it tried again and it started as normal.
I think that was a coincident because, because I ran it for 5 minutes and now it won't start again.
This happened once about four months ago then three days ago and again today. Today was the only time I disconnected the monitor.
Any guesses?
I was thinking that something became heat sensitive. I pushed all the control box fuses for tightness. none seemed loose.
Is a 5.0 engine

Check fuse 27 in the fuse box under the hood. Pull it out and look for melted plastic. There's a TSB on this condition with a fuse relocation kit to fix it.

I checked fuse 27 and it was burnt badly. only one pin left intact. removed it and disconnected the battery and cleaned cleaned the slot for now and put in a new fuse.
Starting problem solved for now and kit is ordered from Amazon.
