I have a '99 ranger XLT, standard cab. I am wanting to know if anybody has installed any overhead consoles other than the ones that come out of explorers? If so do you have pictures and were there any difficulties?
I have heard a handful of stories of people putting the OHC from '98 broncos in their rangers, but can't find pictures. I think it would be too long to fit a standard cab?

Fairy tales since there were no ‘98 Broncos. Until they were reintroduced in 2021 the last FSB Bronco was made in ‘96.
I had a ‘94 EB Bronco with an overhead console. It was basically the same size and function as the one used in Explorers. I imagine finding an Explorer console would be easier to find.
