I would definitely shield those lines from the up pipe exhaust heat in heat shield tubing just to be safe.

Not a new concept just added protection (chafing and heat exposure).
Those lines are vulnerable in my opinion which is why I wrapped mine.
The black part appears to replace the stock regulator cover so I'm guessing they are using the stock regulator, just modifying the fuel path so it goes thru the heads. Interesting concept.
