RiffRaff Fuel Rail Crossover

Anyone out there in 6.0 land running one of these. It claims to be a regulated return, but how is that possible without a...um....regulator?

Yes, looks to be similar to the 7.3 FRx which allows a metered return path for the air entrained fuel and purging it from the heads back to the tank using the stock return.

I would definitely shield those lines from the up pipe exhaust heat in heat shield tubing just to be safe.

Isn't it normal for a regulated return system to have lines coming off the back of the heads? Your post kinda sounds like you're talking about a new concept.

The last one I installed came with shielding already preinstalled on the lines. Seemed well protected to me.

I am sure it is partly OCD for me, but the Riff Raff lines seems like standard unshielded fuel line.

Not a new concept just added protection (chafing and heat exposure).

Those lines are vulnerable in my opinion which is why I wrapped mine.

The black part appears to replace the stock regulator cover so I'm guessing they are using the stock regulator, just modifying the fuel path so it goes thru the heads. Interesting concept.
