I have to ask, how do you lock in/out the front hubs? I have no experience with those type of wheels. Does the center cap have a way to turn the lock in/out?
So the lock in/out actually locks the front wheels to the axle. When you turn if from Free to Lock. And the High (4H) and Low (4L) range selection is controlled by the xfer case. Unless you have a full time 4wd set up. It would be interesting to see how the center cap of that wheel attaches to the lock in/out part of the hub.
Might be he just locked them and left them locked since hidden?
Was a guy with the local group that gathers at Walmart, wanted a certain wheel but they somehow hit his hubs, so he cut plates from a road sign and put in place to let him use his new wheel centers, but he was happy cruising the parking lot.
