Tranny Foam?
Hi. I have quick question. I have heard of tranny fluid foaming up and I know thats not a good thing. Is there any way that you can check the oil and see if its foamed up or signs of it from the tranny. Can you check the oil out at home if its checkable. Thanks for any info

The usual way to check is to drive around a bit and then check the fluid. You might see a few bubbles down low on the dipstick, that is normal. If there are lots of bubbles, especially up high on the dipstick then you have tranny foaming. Might be due to low fluid, hard driving(usually towing uphill in heat) or you may have a tranny filter that is sucking air.
