The fuel return line is at the top left (driver side) on the filter housing, not the bottom right. The two fittings at the lower right supply the heads with fuel.

You are correct maybe I read it wrong or in a rush this morning got confused, IDK. Maybe I just need a nap.

Problem solved today. The stovepipe use removed from the fuel filter housing. The spring had a slight bend. Charged the batteries and the engine fired up. Happy to report there are no oil or fuel leaks and there are no codes. Engine runs better with all the new sensors; all I need now is find a new top end wiring harness to finish the job.
