RABS code 16 ????

RABS code 16 ????
94 f350 7.3 idi
So my abs light came on the other day
i had vacuum pump and master cylinder replaced a couple months ago and brakes have been very good
when I started the truck the brakes felt a little soft, noticed the abs light, drove around the neighborhood and put it up
ran the diagnostic test with the jumper wire and it blinked 16 times (including the long one at the end)
googling the codes 16 or more flashes should not occur issue
any ideas ???
I hooked it back up and started the truck, the light was off and even after a couple pushed on the pedal it didn’t come back on

The code consists of a number of short flashes and ends with a long flash. Count the short flashes and include the following long flash in the count to obtain the code number. For example, three short flashes followed by one long flash indicates Flashout Code Four. The code will continue to repeat itself until the key is turned off. It is recommended that the code be verified by reading it several times.

thanks for the replies,
I was confused because 16 on the codes chart says "should not occur" and i read that as it's not possible,
after reading the instructions again I may have tested it wrong,
I had it grounded when I turned the key, when I ungrounded the ABS light started flashing, 15 short and one long
the instructions say to turn the key, then ground / unground to get the code,
hopefully this afternoon I'll get back at it,

Ford RABS-I systems, 1992 and older, Code 16 description states it should never happen. Ford RABS-II, which has the capability to store codes the Ford Service Manual states this for Code 16:
