No power

2015 diesel def delete no power. Turbo spools and boost is discharged threw the wgt got that sound of when you step on it and it boosts and you let go right away. Did have that exhaust hiss sometimes use to do it only on cold starts and only first time now it’s all the time

Look for a leak in the charge air system. Hose split or clamp blown off.

Are you blowing a lot of smoke?

Inspect your cold side piping, in fact inspect all the related connections to and from the turbo, from the air box and CAC.

should not need to take apart to see an apparent rupture on the hoses,

check it all over, if not found then start the truck and see if you can find it.

Also if the waste gate is coming on a bunch, perhaps it is bad.

I know you have a tuner, but scan for any codes.

Power problems with no codes are usually turbo ductwork as indicated above, or clogged /defective map sensors.

when we say no codes we don’t mean no dash cel’s , we mean no codex using a good odb port reader.

Short of the above the power problem is more likely a defective sensor than an actual mechanical problem.

If I were to guess which sensor aside from the map, I would suspect exhuast back pressure….you can snap shot readings at idle at various rpms to compare to known good ebp numbers .

Some numbers at different rpms while parked at this link.

corky numbers at first but good numbers at the end of thread once sensors were replaced.

don’t blindly start replacing sensors with out good data to support it.. gets expensive.https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ormance-5.html
