Second row seat squeak
Has anyone experienced this annoying noise every time you run over the slightest bump?
appears to come from the track but I’m not certain. All I know is if someone sits on the seat it’s quiet. From what I can see the tracks are riveted together. Also there’s a lot of play in the assembly.
Anyone experienced this and found a fix?

I find it hard to believe that I’m the only one who is experiencing squeaks and rattles in the track of the second row seats. It’s not in the pivot areas nor the hinges or locking mechanisms. It’s definitely a vertical movement causing a chatter every time I roll over a bump. I suspect it’s in the track slide mechanism.

Lithium grease might work if I could find it. I have an idea that it’s in the track area so I’m looking for a NOS assembly. It’s part number is

I’m pretty sure it’s the track assembly causing the squeak. When I return from Virginia next weekend it’ll be the first order of business there’s also a cracking noise coming from the passenger side B-pillar that will get corrected. Then I should be noise, squeak and rattle free. Maybe! lol
