Limited accent trim

I'm wanting to attach the fender wheel well trim on a truck similar to the lower accent trim of the Excursion Limited package...see picture below. I know there are attaching screws on the inner fender lip, but is there double sided tape on the back side around the perimeter where it meets the fender, as I can see where it could rub the paint off the front where it sits on the fender...which is something I don't want...

Mine has both. Screws and double sided tape on the wheel wells. And just tape on the lower side panels.

My wheel well trim also has portions of the lower body trim as one piece.

Yours may be different as the photo shows just the wheel well lips.
