Do I have to remove the power steering pump pulley in order to take the pump out? I have a replacement pump with a pulley that I want to install. All directions start with removing the pulley.
Grab a flashlight and get a close look at the bolts, should be fairly easy to see if a bolt is blocked by the pulley. Don't have any lit on that year model and I left the dealer in 04 so I've never changed one either. I can usually eyeball something and figure it out, hazard of the trade.
P.S. I'm envious of your lift, best I can squeeze in my garage is a Quick Jack system, gets all 4 wheels off the ground for my truck and that's good enough for now.
I took a look at it yesterday. Although there is 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag under the hood, it looks like I can get it out without issue but figured it would be smart to ask just incase. As far as the lift goes, its the best money I ever spent. My only regret is that I waited till I was 66 years old to buy it! Thanks for taking the time to help! Ray
