1971 Ford LN600

Hello all. I'm new here & hoping to get some information on the truck that I recently became the owner of. I'll attach pictures & all the information that I currently have. Overall I am hoping to get a general understanding of what I have or rather what this truck is. What it originally was. What it has or what it originally had. Also to determine what it might be capable of. I have plans for it & have sourced the things needed to see the project thru like a different engine, a cube box w/ lift gate & other miscellaneous odds & ends. I'm in Minnesota & my goal is to take this truck & remove the engine that is locked up & replace it with a 351, remove the 22' x 8' flat bed along with its hydraulic tilt setup & replace it with a 20' x 8' x 8' box off a 2019 box off a 2019 Freightliner along with its 8' x 8' rear lift setup. I need all of that completed before the snow starts accumulating on the ground here. Is it a lot of work? Yes. Is it realistic? I believe that it is & I don't want to take the next step until I get some input from folks that are familiar with these trucks and/or may even have experience doing something similar that they can give a few pointers on. I'll add the photos now & if more are needed or a specific one needs to be taken I'll be sure to get that uploaded. Thanks in advance.

what engine is currently in it? being a 71, i would guess a 391 FT.
if so, a 351 windsor is gonna be too small for a truck that size.

It's a 330 HD. See the Large Truck forum. I'll add a link to the thread there later.

It's later. Please see the thread below to learn more and help the OP with his truck.
