I have one (4.0L) I find it to be very uncomfortable and have a very harsh ride compared to other SUVs. We bought it with only 57k MI earlier this year, and in great condition. If I had the choice to do it again, I would not. BUT, as of yet, no major problems.

I have a 96 AWD 302 V-8, and I've been quite happy with it. Got a bit over 100K miles so far, and the only problem has been the infamous blend door in the A/C-heater system. I fixed that myself for less than $5.00. Gas mileage ranges from 17 to 22 depending on city/highway and summer/winter. Judgeing from the posts I see on this forum, I'd stay away from the V-6, it seems to have a lot more problems than the V-8, and the gas mileage is the same. Yes, the ride is a bit harsh, but it's a truck, not a luxury car. I would definitely get another one.
