Finding proper brake shoes
I have been looking for brake shoes for my 1972 F250 2wd that has a GVW of 6900 lbs, drum brakes on all wheels. I have measured the drums, they are 12" and the shoes that are currently on it are 2.5 " wide. I have been looking though parts stores and order on 2 occasions brake shoes that supposedly fit. They didn't. Does someone have a part number from a parts store for the correct brake shoes for my truck?

Any way you can get parts is a good way. If you tell them to look under 4x4 and you get shoes that fit, good.
That said, they fit in the drums, right? If they fit, run 'em.
