E-Break Light (HELP!)

2019 F350
I've been using the BD high idle control for several years without any issues. However, this year, I have been unable to figure out the problem despite my best efforts, and I have finally disconnected it today. Here's a breakdown of what I have done. The brake light has to come on to engage the high idle.
1) The brake light works. I see it every time I start my truck
2) I can press my e-brake, and they still work
3) I've replaced the sensor on the e-brake, and still nothing
4) I move around the wire, and nothing
5) I put a volt meter on it, and it seems to be getting power.
I've searched and searched and searched and can't find anything online.
