Drivetrain Knocks

What would cause a drivetrain knock when coming to a stop? It occurs periodically when slowing to a stop. 2021 F150 Crew 4x4.

My wife’s 2023 F150 4x4 trans clunks when downshifting at times : just before you stop.

Normal operation.

all vehicles have little hiccups of some kind.

Just Drive it.

After driving my 24 for a couple of weeks now, I have noticed some quirks as well. I think what I notice is downshifting from the 10 speed. More gears and shifts than what I was used to.

I personally think the 6 speed maxed out the needful gearing of a truck with a 373-rear axle.
A 10 speed to me is just a PITA. Wish the 6 speed was standard and the 10 an option.

I’m ok with 10spd in the wife’s F150 & my Ranger.

I’m no fan of 10spd with a diesel.
I don’t tow super heavy tho.

My 2016 & 2019 6spd 6.7 F350’s is awesome.
