New to this but have a problem with a 95 Ranger, 2.3L. It seems that the compressor continually cylces on and off regardless of what setting controls are on. Cycles on and off even when on a setting, like vent when I wouldn't think it should even come on. Any ideas or anyone heard of this? I appreciate any help anyone can give me.
I think I just saw something about that today on two guys garage. It wasnt a ranger, but it was some ford. I think they said something about a sensor that went bad or something like that, I'm not 100% sure though. Did anyone else watch that today?
have you check the ac pressures with a manifold set yet? it sounds like you might be low on refrigerant. have someone with a gauge set take a look at the pressures you are probably low.. Kurt
I know this might make you say, DANG why didn't I think of that, but here it goes. Try the AC cycling switch. I used to sell parts and I had that question alot.
