Just wanted to get some thoughts and opinions as there’s some mixed threads about it.
Recently have went through the brake system on the truck, new wheel cylinders, calipers and lines front to back and replaced a leaky master cylinder as well.
Was having trouble bleeding the brakes and having the pedal return all the way back up, adjusted the link from booster to the master and it started returning faster.
When running now, pedal remains depressed to the floor, tried to unplug the vacuum to the booster and the pedal returns. Just wanted to rule anything else out before buying a new booster!
Did you bleed the M/C itself? I think you have a lot of air in the line yet. You can bleed the m/c while it's installed, you'll need fittings to screw into the m/c outlet ports that you can connect small hose to them. Run the hose into the m/c reservoir, make sure the lines stay submerged in brake fluid and have someone slowly pump the pedal, when you no longer have bubbles, reconnect brake lines and proceed with bleeding the rest of the system.
You may look into getting a tool to help with brake bleeding too, since I work alone most of the time I grabbed one of these from Amazon.

I bled the brakes from master bench bleed and it seemed like endless bubbles, put it on the truck and bled until no bubbles but the pedal was slow to return until I adjusted the link.
