Replaced rear leafs and shocked the other day, super heavy duty stuff. Super stiff. Hit a pot hole, lost the dash lights, tail lights, front parking lights. But the headlights are fine. Tried the multi function switch, nothing in position 1, but only headlights in position 2. If I finagle it just right for a little bit, in between positions 1 and 2. Everything works. I am so lost. Took the entire dash apart tested for dc and continuity. Packing it in for the night however so I hope while I’m at work tomorrow someone has some insight. Tried to describe everything as best as I could, though I do suck at electrical troubleshooting. Thanks!
Sounds like headlight switch went bad. Seems like you discovered this yourself when troubleshooting. If everything works when the switch is in that sweet spot, then you proved the lights and wiring themselves are fine.
I'd see about picking up a replacement and testing that out.

see I did that and the same behaviors were present in the old switch and new one, could it really be that probable that the new switch was faulty?
