BLIS

I had the taillights stolen from my 2015 F150 each contained the BLIS. I needed to get my truck back the road so I purchased a completely new taillights with the BLIS. I installed them but BLIS is not working, do they need to be preprogrammed to work as intended? The taillights, brake lights and reverses lights work fine.
Thanks
Mike

Wow, some scumbag actually stole your tailights... I would guess the bliss needs activated and calibrated. Did you go under settings in the dash and see if anything is available?

They steal LED headlights and tail lights all the time. Especially on Super Duty trucks.

More valuable than most cat's.
From what I have read the tailgate locks are easily defeated.

Probably time to look into some screws with security heads.

If they can get them, mirrors are pretty costly also.
My left exterior on the '13 was right at $900.00 to replace a few years ago..... and it didn't have everything the '17 does.

Yes they have to be programmed like almost every module on the vehicle today.
