I've got this big screen capable of navigation but no options to use when I select it. Who do I call and what does the service cost to use the in dash navigation... Android auto is annoying with all the crap that pops up.
The Ford connected navigation sucks, just so you know.
If you think google maps on android auto is bad, you will hate connected navigation.
I paid for one year after the free 3-months from Ford, dropped it after that and went with google maps on android auto.
Google maps sucks too, but not as bad as Ford connected nav.
Google maps at least has satellite view, and has traffic warnings and cop warnings.
I pay for it because I need to use an app to track work miles and the app tends to lock up my phone when using it with Google Maps. Usually when you are in an unfamiliar location.

That actually sucks. I just use the trip odo for tracking work miles when on a work trip, as once I leave my driveway (or the shop parking lot if pulling a trailer) then every mile I put on is paid for. But if they mandate you use an app and it causes phone issues...well if they mandate you use an app they'd best be paying for the phone or service at minimum.
When towing I use the Garmin RV GPS and at times use Waze. Waze has been the most accurate, up to date and responsive to traffic of any GPS/mapping system I have used

Yep, I log every mile. When I start the truck for a work drive, I snap a pic of the center stack then back it up with a google map route. Then I log the miles in an itinerary tracker, just to have a third backup.

Phone & phone service is paid by the company. Using the app is mandatory 🤬
