Edge cts3 egt pid
Hi, I recently bought a edge cts3 to monitors egts
the truck has weight reduction, can someone help me figure out how I can monitor egts I see the parameter and it comes up as psi and always reads 4 that’s the old pid I can find, any help is appreciated

Did you install a new temp sensor? You will have to wire that into the Edge. The edge CTS is monitor what the trucks computers see. d When you deleted the truck, You took out the 4 EGT sensors that the truck monitors

I have ordered one, my next question is if I take out the egt that’s in the manifold and replace it with the edge one will it throw a code?

The only reading I can get now is the one labeled for the EGR temp and it's erroneous I guess because it's at 80-110 normally and 300ish when pulling hills.

I guess that's why my Scan Gauge II stopped showing EGTs. I thought there would be at least one OE sensor in the downpipe that would not be deleted and thus I'd still be able to monitor temps at that location. I was wrong.
