Hi, I recently bought a edge cts3 to monitors egts
the truck has weight reduction, can someone help me figure out how I can monitor egts I see the parameter and it comes up as psi and always reads 4 that’s the old pid I can find, any help is appreciated
Did you install a new temp sensor? You will have to wire that into the Edge. The edge CTS is monitor what the trucks computers see. d When you deleted the truck, You took out the 4 EGT sensors that the truck monitors

I have ordered one, my next question is if I take out the egt that’s in the manifold and replace it with the edge one will it throw a code?

I guess that's why my Scan Gauge II stopped showing EGTs. I thought there would be at least one OE sensor in the downpipe that would not be deleted and thus I'd still be able to monitor temps at that location. I was wrong.
The only reading I can get now is the one labeled for the EGR temp and it's erroneous I guess because it's at 80-110 normally and 300ish when pulling hills.

I wonder if the reading from the EGR temp is low because you no longer have flow across it. The EGR valve no longer opens. Some move the EGR temp probe to the block off plate that installs in the valley at the exhaust manifold. You know, where the bolts break trying to remove the tube.
