morning boys ! thought spring was on the 21st ! -8 this morning think they say 3 today . maple syrup season soon . maybe a good day to wake up my ford .

Around here I don't think spring is officially here until the May long weekend...lol
No maple syrup either..

May Long Weekend is when gardens are planted around here.

Plant that early here you have to keep it covered because the frost might kill it. Generally they say for around here plus experience you are not safe until the first full moon in June..

It maybe different here, May Long is generally safe to plant gardens.

Tends to be different every year but the general rule as nice as the weather can be there is always a chance of a killing frost before that full moon in June..May long weekend is usually a terrible weekend here, could be freezing rain,snow and howling winds..

One yr we had frost every month, luck that most months it wasn't a killing frost.

One yr we had heavy snow late May after my crop was up, it was warm so didn't do any damage to the crop.

There was water standing my sandy field, that yr crops was pretty good.
