Center speaker

I'm upgrading my speakers in my f250 I was told you don't need to replace the center speaker because it only works off of the phone and radio commands is this true anybody thanks

I don't know if it only works off phone or radio commands, but I didn't bother with my 22. It's easy enough to get to, I just can't remember the mounting and if it's proprietary.

I replaced mine about five years ago with a Kicker brand speaker and it made a noticeable difference in the stereo sound quality vs stock. Back then it was considered one of those "mods you should do" . I bought a pair of them from eBay for around $35. Well worth it imo. Do a search here and you may find the thread.

These are the speakers I purchased back in 2018, price has gone up but what hasn't.

There is 2 speakers in the center? I'm assuming we are talking about the speaker in the center of the dash.... Or did you replace the door speakers with the one's shown.....
