Unscrew it ~ .25 turn and then tighten it back up.
If it still leaks, then unscrew it until a little oil starts to leak around the filter, and then tighten and brake clean. This method should allow oil to lubricate the gasket allowing proper torque/compression on gasket.
Filter gasket was properly lubed when the filter was installed to begin with.
Same thing happened to my oil filters 2 out of the last 3 oil filter changes... I think you have to over tighten it a bit when hot or it just isn't tight enough when it cools down, something has changed and the expansion contraction when hot & cold has increased... JMO

Well, as in my comments above, this is the first incidence of this happening ever, and I haven't changed my install process.
And, I already did tighten it more last week when I first discovered the issue, drove it for a couple of days before this latest trip over the weekend with no leaks, and now it is leaking again.

Exactly what happened with me... Thus my tightening it again when cold for the ones that leaked, and over tightening it a bit when the oil filter base is hot, and that one didn't leak... Seemed to work so far.

So, my truck will be getting Mobil 1 5w40 diesel oil for top off, it was on sale at wally world, stinking rotella price went up.
Mobil 1 on sale for $22 a gallon.
Truck was only a little over a quart down when I checked it this a.m., but I had no oil left so had to run down and get some, plus a can of brake clean.
Truck is up on the ramps cooling off, I'll crawl under in a while and see about all of this.
Well, at least what the oil has been blowing back on won’t rust!
Ive always lightly snugged my oil filter up with the wrench or socket I took it off with. I go hand tight (very hand tight…I’m a big guy), and then another 1/4-ish turn with the tool.
Had the same issue with OEM filters. I wonder if the gasket has changed and maybe it's a harder rubber now?
I put a K&N oil filter on this time and did the usual tightening and no leaks. I have trouble keeping the OEM one from having a drip on the bottom of it.
All that money pissed Away on oil, you could have bought a new filter last week and put the two quarts in last week and been done with it. Now you’ll **** $40 away instead of $25 for the filter.

Well, don't know where you get your numbers from, but they are off.
So far, I have spent $22 for a gallon of oil, which I would have needed even if I had just replaced the oil filter two weeks ago, and will only use about a quart of it for top off, and I bought a can of brake clean for $3.50 that I will use many times for various tasks, so about $26, and not all for this one issue.
So, I didn't **** away anything more than I would have anyway.

assuming you have messed with the filter and knew something isn’t right, since you changed them tons of times before, you will most likely have to replace the filter, so depending on location you buy it at you will spend $20-25 on a filter plus your $22 oil and $3.50 brake clean. So $45-$50 between everything.
So, did not pull the old leaking filter early, ran it out to the oil change time after re-tightening it again, but it was still leaking slightly.
I did my oil change today, cleaned everything on or near the oil filter mount, inspected all around it with a light and magnifying glass, could not see any issues.
When I pulled the filter, the gasket popped off the top and looked very compressed but didn't see any split in it either.
Old filter spun off easy, new one went back on easy.
So, still not sure what the deal was.
When I put the new filter on, I tightened it up with the filter wrench, tighter than hand tight but didn't kill it.
Drove around the neighborhood, still nice and clean white.
Will keep an eye on it the next job trip I go out on.
