2000 Excursion restoration
I'm going to document the restoration here in this blog with as many pics as possible.
Beginning:
2000 Ford Excursion Limited (all stock)
drive train: 4x4
Engine: 6.8L V10 (I have a 7.3L Powerstroke engine I will restore either in this thread or as a separate thread)
Trans: 4r100
It runs and drives currently with 124k miles
Documentation in hand: Workshop manuals for 2000 Excursion and 2002 (year of the 7.3L Powerstroke), Haynes, Chilton, Differentials, "How to rebuild Ford Power Stroke Diesel Engines 94-07," ATSG 4R100 Techtran Manual, and various others will mention if they end up being important.
Experience level: none, other than knowing how to change the oil.

Sounds interesting and definitely ambitious considering that last statement about experience level.
