I'm right in the heart of battling cancer, guys. Just finished radiation, and took my first infusion therapy the other day. I had some low aggressive stuff in me, were the odds were, I'd outlive it, with no effects, so mild. There was a tiny chance it could change over to aggressive type..........and it just did. While doing so, it fractured my back! That's making it so much harder than it needs to be. A couple months, I'll be out of my back brace and walking easier. 5 more chemotherapy treatments and we should have this nasty pig sent into remission. I have very high odds of success. They know they can beat the stuff I have. I won the cancer lotto but it's still tough times ahead.
American Indian with long hair that's very sacred to me. It reaches my lower back. Oncologists told me that I'll be bald within a couple weeks. That might be the hardest part.............but I'll never surrender!

Wishing you a complete recovery...there's a reason why we're forced to go through so much. MA CL is currently battling bladder cancer...NJ CL passed last year from glioblastoma. The Big C is a lottery you don't want to win.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the support. Thurs and fri was hd chemo infusions and I'm still not a total sick mess, so I guess it's all going to be alright.
Just 5 more sessions over the next few months and I should be in the clear. I'm glad it happened now than latter, while I'm still this side of 50. Strong as an ox still. I got this. So lucky I got one they have a cure for.... and one where they already know what to do about a rare return years latter to boot. They can save my hide again if need be in my 70's and 80's....so long as I don't get something else, but that's to be said about any of us I suppose.
