Hello. Newbie to the site but not to working on cars/trucks/bikes. It's been many years since I've been able to work on cars/trucks. So I'm hoping I haven't forgotten too much in my ever increasing age. I picked up an '83 F100 from an elderly buddy. It's been in his family since new but has been sitting for a few years. Hoping to get it back on the road in the near future. Let the laughter begin
It is. It just needs a few things. The main tank has a small crack, have to install a new starter, cracked rear taillight and the carb needs to be gone through. Can't find a rebuild kit for the Holley that's on it though. So may have to find Carter to replace it. Other than that. A good cleaning and some tires. Them I'll be driving the wheels off of it

Don't forget fuel lines. Any that are rubber. New gasoline eats old non-ethanol rated hoses.
I appreciate the reminder. I've been good about remembering that about 90% of the time. The other 10% is me swearing in my head when I'm in a parking lot with an old bike sitting in a puddle.

LOL at least you're swearing in your head and not stopping, dropping, rolling, and swearing in your head, right?
