Hi guys. I have a 1979 f150 with a 351C in it. She was seized 5 months ago and we got her unseized recently with some magic and pulling and we had to fix two bent rods on the top end. We also found a plastic cap in the top end that got chewed up. This weekend I’m pulling the oil pan because there is a knocking that is only is heard from high revving. Now I first thought it was pieces of what we found in the top end in the oil pan, however last night I found pieces of metal that was extremely thin like paper thing and crumpled easly. We are thinking a crankshaft bearing. Attached are two videos of what it sounds like if anyone has a idea
WOW, from what we can hear,,,, In my opinion, I would NOT start it again, as one of those rods will be coming out thru the block.
Sounds like a total rebuild is in order......
Im sure some of the engine guys will be along with more answers...

so funny enough I had knock for like 5 months before it seized like that and I jsut ignored it cuz it was my only truck. But I found these rlly small paper thin pieces of metal when I drained my oil and this weekend ima take off my whole oil pan to see what’s going on but if it is my crankshaft bearings then ima swap the motor for a 460 big block
Sounds like it has bearings out. but it doesn't really matter, engines that seize up need more attention than just breaking them lose. pull the engine and see what's inside.
This is what I found when I dropped the pan on my 351M at the beginning of July
Ended up pulling the engine. Did not have a spun or disintegrated rod or main bearing, but quite a few were showing copper. Pulled the cam and found this.
I am now doing a complete rebuild. But not all bad though...I'm taking it as an opportunity to upgrade some stuff.
