This is something that has bothered me for a bit now - I have a 2024 Lariat but the mirror caps are gloss black, not color matched (antimatter blue). The truck is so dark I didn't notice it immediately, but upon close inspection they're definitely black.
I feel like I've seen color matched lariat mirror caps out there - did a change happen somewhere along the line?
I think that the color matched caps look pretty sharp - is my only option to the them painted myself?

I want to say there are different options
gloss black (agate) caps — BAP trucks
body color caps — normal/standard lariats as well as sport pkg
chrome caps — on lariats with a chrome package or something?
if they bother you enough it probably wouldn’t cost that much to have them painted they’re pretty small
Knowing FoMoCo, in order to get the color matched caps you'd have to buy the entire mirror assembly (both sides). You'll probably want to view prices after you've taken your nitro tablets, lol
So, yeah, IMO your best bet is to remove the mirrors and take them to a competent body shop and have them professionally painted. Just supply your paint code from your door decal and I'm sure it'll cost much less than replacing the mirrors...
I ordered mine online color matched. Super easy install and they look great.
Maybe post a link to the aftermarket supplier you purchased from. It will give the OP an idea of how the price compares to just having his painted. From what Ive seen, some of those paint matched parts found online are pretty pricey.
