Wiring question

4 wires come out of harness that hook up to coil, red and black to choke, red to coil, what does white wire go to?
1959 f100 vehicle

I think the wire you are talking about goes to the oil pressure sending unit down on the block towards the fire wall. That is if you are working on a 223. Not sure about the 8 cylinder.

You are correct, it’s the oil light sensor
