Hello my problems are when I disconnect my MAF sensor my truck falls dead,I disconnect my IAC my idle doesn't change, on cold crank when I put it in reverse it dies but after it's warm it doesn't die in reverse. No check engine light or codes, sprayed carb cleaner did not find any vacuum leaks. It is runnings rough when warm if to much throttle is applied it will big down and die on road
Any help greatly appreciated
Update I checked my base timing today with spout plug unplugged I marked 10 degrees btdc it was way off it actually looks like it was in the 30 degrees btdc area. The 10 degrees mark was way right of the arrow pointer ...
Yep that's what it's doing so that is a timing issue and are or is there anything I should be concerned about if it is set back to the 10 btdc degrees mark...?

Nope. Just reset it to 10°BTDC and continue on. Make sure you put the spout plug back in after the distributor is snugged down.
Update: I changed plugs, wires couldn't set at 10 degrees when I set it at 10 it started to ping and smoke and I could smell the engine heat so I set it at around 8 and no before mentioned issues truck runs really good now no hesitation no jerk. Any reason I couldn't set at 10 that anyone knows of?truck has 230.00 miles. Again truck runs really good now and I did learn a little about the timing.

TLDR: It appears the Light Green/Red wire is not supplying the exciter voltage to turn on the alternator. Check the fuse link between the alternator output and battery circuit. Verify that LG/R wire has power when the key is in the Run position.
