3rd door issue
The top latch of the 3rd door on my pickup has a broken cable and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to open it? I ordered a new latch but I need to get the door open in order to swap it out.

Pull the interior trim panels (sure, it can be done with the door shut)
If the cable is completely broken off
Go fishing at the upper latch with a pick tool and open it
Through one of the little holes in the latch
That is how you deal with a malfunctioning child lock that will not open or other latch inop issues
