Fuel gauge question

Fuel gauge question
95 F-250, 4.9 EFI, Auto 2wd. Does anyone have any ideas or a direction to go on what would cause my fuel gauge to not register? There's fuel in both tanks but they don't move when the tanks are switched or read the levels. The rear tank and pump assembly is new. I can usually figure this stuff out, but my brain isn't playing.
