Hi! I need help with my 2004 Ford Expedition EB with a OEM sat radio. When I press “Sat” to go to Sirius, the radio displays: “NO SAT.” I tried rummaging through forums and on YouTube for any info. If anyone has anything on this error, please let me know!
If I had to hazard a guess, there may have been a factory XM tuner back in the day that went with the radio.
My ‘08 SuperCrew had a factory hands free kit that was needed to use the phone with it (previous owner kept it). Without it, no dice.
Anyway, Ford money grab aside, you may be able to get by with the SXV300 tuner if the jacks behind the radio haven’t changed over the years.
I mean, I know where the OEM tuner is (it’s in the D pillar), also, the radio jacks has been the same since ‘06 (to my knowledge)
I’ll look into your info, thanks! I’ll also check if the OEM dealer-installed tuner (that’s how it was in ‘04-‘06) is plugged in, cause it may just not be plugged in.
