Best time to trade in
What have you found to be the best combo, years and or miles, where you’ve gotten the best value on your trade?
I don’t feel like hanging on to a truck for years anymore if I don’t have to.
It may not work out this way but I’d like it to if I can.

Before the covid chit storm, it used to be around 2 years/50k miles was what most people did. Most people now who turn vehicles over frequently lease them.

I haven’t heard of a person in my area leasing a SuperDuty.
And it wouldn’t work as I’m likely putting in 15-20k mi a year.

Yeah, not heard of anyone leasing their F250s either. I guess it would be okay if you drive it as a "family car" as opposed to a "working truck"?
If you're putting on 15-20K miles/year, I'd say trading it in at ~3 years would be about 'right'.

When new purchase incentives are out there and your current truck has between 45-75k miles.
I would wait till interest rates tick down some later this year before making a move if you can wait.

This is my thought as well. Truck is used for sales purposes and towing a 5th wheel camper.

Thinking more 2026. So hopefully all those things align.
