I have a bad transfer case on my 2008 F350 6.4. Its model No. on the case is 273F the ***'y No. is A195AB. My question is will a transfer case from a 04 F250 6.0 work that has the same model number, but the ***'y No. is different (A195DB). They are both electronic shift.

It should, both the 6.4 and 6.0 use a 5R110 automatic, so the spline counts should be the same, should be a bolt-n-go.
On a side note, transfer cases are easy to rebuild, even for the beginner DIY'r, only special tools needed is a couple good sets of snap ring pliers. Pretty much any internal part you want for a 273/ 271 (the 271 is the manual shift version of the same transfer case) can be had from allstate gear (link below) for pretty reasonable prices.

. Attached is a picture of the 2010 F250 237F transfer case I put in my 2008 F350 which had a 273F also, looking to the front of the truck. There seems to be gaps where the two housings meet. I drove it and it feels tight and drives great but...any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
