I have a cheap aftermarket radio in my 1994 F250 XL, it has Android Auto on it. When I turn the headlights off and push the switch all of the way in, the radio will go to 'night mode', if I pull it out very slightly the radio will go back to 'day mode'. The headlights/running lights don't come on when it's pushed in all the way but its like some circuit is going hot. I have replaced the dash panel bezel with an aftermarket version, could this allow the switch to be pushed in too far? Should I just add a spacer somewhere or does the switch need to be replaced? Has anyone encountered this before?
