Banks Trans Command question
I have a motorhome with an E40D trans, and I am considering the banks kit. They want to sell you a transmission module with the turbo. No other company tries to sell you this thing but banks. Do I really need this thing? I mean, the transmission came with the motorhome. Is it not rated to pull the vehicle down the road? I know, the turbo will make more power and torque than stock, but is this not the same transmission that they put in other heavy duty applications with turbo diesels? How important is this Trans Command transmission module? Can I save a buck here, or do I need this thing?

My dad has a 92 F-350 with the banks sidewinder kit and the trans commad make the tranny sift firmer underload. it sences the load and make the tran line pressuer higher (firm shift) or lower (soft shift) dep. on load. i would get it and will get it when i turbo my truck (twin sidewinders this summer)
