2000 Expedition ?

I have a 2000 expedition and was wondering, are all expeditions equipped with cabin air filtration, and how do I find out (Im more used to working on fiberglass bodied, blown alcohol vehicles whose only filtration is well, a helmet faceshield)

Thanks in advance for any help
E

I have a '00 EB without the cabin filter. Apparently it was phased out by Ford at some point. Look below your glove box. Remove the black plastic housing and it will be in there, if equipped.

The Cabin Air Filter seems to be a ghost option. Nobody knows much about it, and the dealers aren't willing to talk. lol

My dealer isnt too talkative with me right now anyway. Wife driuves an 01 Focus (bought new there) I took it in for its oil change and new headlights. Seems to be an annual thing. This makes it 3 sets of headlights (leak water) 2 pair of taillights, and about 6 sets of license plate lights (they fill with water, short out blow fuses) Hopefully they'll last long enough for me to get it back again this week and have them fix the trunk release motor (non working acessory). Needless to say my last visit at 21000 miles wasnt a friendly one

My Ford dealer says that the interior filter for my 98 is $50 and it was in stock. I have not looked to see if I have a filter yet.

This was always a dealer-installed option on all Expeditions, regardless of year.
