Best 4 function--printer,fax, scanner,copier < $200
I need a new printer and my budget is set at $200. Any recommendations for the best , multifunction machine currently available. There are so many choices available that it is hard to differentiate between the major manufactuers. I think I'm going to be stuck with a black\white machine which is just fine for now. thanks, skuteman
Hey Skuteman,
I am in the same boat. My printer of 7 years is about toast. . I want another HP because of the printer cartrage costs seem less. I do a lot of general printing everyday, but would like to get into degital photo. So do i buy a High dollar photo printer, or a cheap general printer. Thank goodness for road signs on the road. I dont think i can stand to make anymore decissions
I have a LexMark printer/scanner/copier/fax... not a top of the line model but it works great for my home use and it only cost about $125.00 at Wally world (wal-mart). The replacement cartridges are not the cheapest but about in the middle of the road for cost, that was the major factor I looked into when shopping for a new print/copier/ect.
It seamed to have the best DPI for the cost and replacement factor..
Just thought I would through in my expeirience for you to ponder
My brother just bought an Epson at the Gateway store for about $149.00. One thing I liked about this machine is that they split the color cartridge up into separate cartridges. One for red, one for blue, etc. This means if you run out of a specific color, you don't have to throw the whole color cartridge away, thus wasting the other two colored inks. As long as the individual cartridges are cheap enough, that's a good deal.
I just bought a Lexmark x1150 all in one. It works great and is very easy to use. The black ink cartridge ran low pretty quick though, but I print a lot in black text.
