I want to add a backup camera to my trailer. When I ordered my 2023 F350 I forgot to check the box for customer placed camera. I am looking at the Ford Accessories web site and I am trying to determine which one to buy. I ordered my truck with Tow Technology Package, the window sticker doesn't say what the package number is. I have the little **** for backing up trailers on the dash. I think I need this but it say I need package 874. Can someone help me determine if this is the correct part I need please.
If you have the **** for backup assist you have the 7/12-pin in the bed already. You only need a new 12-pin IF you want to place one by your bumper for a bumper pull trailer. If towing gooseneck or 5th wheel you don't need it.
We put a Haloview ByteTango12 wireless camera on our trailer. It works excellent. It is our preference to keep the truck dash screen on AndroidAuto- Google Maps while we are towing and have 1 less cable jumping the hitch..

I have Pro Trailer Back Up assist and don't have a 12 pin. 2022 DRW Lariet Ultimate package.
How does your yaw sensor connect? The PTBA runs through the 12/pin. If you have a DRW did you order it without 5th wheel/gooseneck prep? If so thats kinda pointless.

I ordered my truck with 5th Wheel / Gooseneck prep, removed it as it was a build constraint. I Ordered truck in 2021 and got it 11 months later. I carry a slide in truck camper so 5th wheel prep wasn't/isnt a priority. Getting my truck before they decided cancel order and move me into a 2023 was. I can add 5th wheel prep later if wanted or needed.
I didn't connect Yaw sensor, just the camera to the back of my slide in camper.
