Year or so ago, I replaced the switch and module for my wiper as the intermittent side was dead. Maybe used a half dozen time since. Noticed intermittent had failed again a while back. Currently it now only functions at a slow intermittent speed on the high speed switch function. All other switch positions are dead. Which part is more likely at fault?
I had a Napa reman wiper motor that always made a little noise until it would barely move across the windshield. Have you checked for power at the motor in all switch settings? So to narrow it down… it is either the switch, wiper module (which I have never had to replace in 3 different trucks) or the motor.

Yup, that is the hard parts involved. I'm not planning to replace them all to fix this.

That is why you need to do some diagnostic testing to figure out what is wrong. Asking us what part is most likely to be at fault is parts replacing and gets expensive.
I have worked 128 hours the last 4 weeks. I asking so I can determine which end of the truck to start pulling panels off to save some time and make it safe to drive in the rain. Ambiguous answers are no help.
There a multiple ways of troubleshooting this problem. Measure the voltage with different switch positions at the motor. Or test the switch. I would start at the switch, but that is just me...
I would check the ground on the motor first
I use an alligator jumper wire to test the ground, then continue on with switch testing if the ground is not the problem
this is the same circut as my 69 f250 hasn't changed much. i think I will go to the junk yard and get a switch and intermittant module and wiper motor and see if it will fit my 69 f250. it will be a nice upgrade.
