No front axle code. By 1970 the axle code for all axles was supposed to be on the plate. For several years prior, there was no stamp for standard axles. There is usually no stamp for special order axles. Since you do not have a special order truck, we can assume the prior practice carried over, and you have a standard Ford front axle with at least 4,500 lbs capacity, and no power steering. There will info stamped into or cast into the front axle if you need more info.
