So I’m looking to buy new upholstery for my standard cab 1983 Ford F-150 since mine is all torn up and I was hoping to keep it looking like the original. I found some upholstery on OC Auto Carpets that looks almost exactly like my year’s factory upholstery, except it’s for a 1987 F-150, so I was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit the same? I’ll provide a picture in case anyone knows of upholstery for an ‘83 that looks the same.
Let's see, '83 is Bull Nose, '87 is Brick Nose. I had an '89 Brick Nose and I could have sworn that the bench seat had built in head rests. Maybe not. The only thing I can think of is that the '83 red and the '87 red are not the same (slightly lighter or darker). If that's not an issue, then it should work. Aside from the color, that seat looks just like the one in my '80.
